LaChrista is a small Cattery Located about 1/1/2 hours drive from Vancouver, B.C. Canada - about 30 minutes East of the Washington- Sumas Border. We have been Registered with CFA And TICA Since 1992.
Our Cattery is FELV/ FIV Negative and Ringworm and Parasite Free.
At LaChrista our primary goal is to breed healthy, sweet- tempered cats that conform as closely as possible to the written show standards of the Cat Fanciers Association- CFA. Our kittens are handled from Birth to become not only Beautiful Show cats, but to be well adjusted, sociable little Fur Persons for Qualifyed Pet Homes as well. After all- every one of our cats is a valued, interactive member of our Family !
Good Temperament and social, outgoing personalities are important to us in developing our kittens. ALL LaChrista babies are handled and socialized from birth to become happy, well adjusted individuals as they grow up.
We work with seal, chocolate, Lilac and Blue Point siamese and are currently working hard to develop Beautiful Silver Tabby, Ebony and Chestnut solid and smoke Oriental ShortHairs as well.
LaChrista offers Show, Breeder and Pet quality kittens to APPROVED Homes when they are between the ages of 16-18 weeks. LaChrista reserves the right NOT to sell or adopt out a cat to Anyone we feel cannot or will not provide a stable, loving home for it.
At this time, any kitten sold to a pet home is required to be spayed or neutered PRIOR to leaving our care as we have no wish to add to the sadly growing unwanted pet population.
All kittens are sold with Contracts outlining our Policies, Requirements and Health Guarantees. We offer A 2 Year Written Health Guarantee against Any Congenital Health Defects. In short, if your kitten should develop any serious health problems that are found to be congenital problems resulting from any weakness or problem in our parent cats, your kitten will be replaced at no cost to you, Provided we are given confirmation and description of the health problem from a Licensed Vetrinarian. We also offer a Vetrinarian's Health Certificate at time of completed sale if requested. All our kittens are examined by our Vetrinarian prior to sale to be certain they are healthy.
Kittens may be Reserved prior to 14 weeks PROVIDED thier new owner's to be, Fully Understand we will NOT Release ANY Kitten before it reaches 16-18 weeks of age and is physically and emotionally ready, and if for a pet only, spayed or neutered. All kittens will have recieved thier first two series of 3-way vaccinations prior to leaving.
